In the Emperor's mindscape reside countless dead spirits, wandering around aimlessly. All the palisman he killed, and surprisingly enough, two teenagers.
All of them were unexpected surprises to Darius and Raine.
They thought Hunter and Luz had been brought out of Belos' mind in time, and the two children were at the owl house, where they knew Eda would keep them safe.
They were wrong.
Now looking for information in the Emperor's mind, the two coven heads have to avoid his subconscious or risk getting killed. There's danger around every corner, but the spirits haunting the mindscape seem willing to lend a hand.
