It's been many long years since Zhou Zishu lost his memories. He wandered the world, trying to find anything familiar. That is, until he ran into a small village at the foot of a mountain.
Villagers have been disappearing, hordes of demons have made camp here, and the villagers, desperate, call out for help. They talk of a towering creature, some say tall enough to reach the moon! With bloody red horns and even bloodier talons: the Wicked Wight.
Don't come near it, they say, or it will whisk you into the night, leaving only a trail of blood and a strand of silver hair. Silver? Intrigued, Zhou Zishu investigates:
why were there so many demons gathered here? Who was killing the villagers? And why was this devilish creature so... clingy? -

Wen Kexing smiles, bright and warm. “I want to travel with you until we have no farther to go.”Wen Kexing reconnects with his healer’s legacy, and finds a way for them to travel off the mountain. Zhou Zishu gets to enjoy wine again. They have some adventures, get into trouble, and enjoy each other. And find that home has always been with the two of them.

“I don’t feel guilty,” Zhou Xu says. His smile is patronising, one eyebrow raised, and he could have most people fooled—except Wen Kexing feels like he’s looking into a mirror. “We’re all dying on this island. Wherever I go, it’s no concern of yours.”
“But you’re wrong, A-Xu,” Wen Kexing says, after another couple of steps, letting his silence lure Zhou Xu into a false sense of an argument won. “If we’re all dying here, of course it matters to me—where you go.”
