FAQ:

Question: What is Worldbuilding?

Answer: As per the Wikipedia article, Worldbuilding is the process of constructing an imaginary world, sometimes associated with a whole fictional universe. Developing an imaginary setting with coherent qualities such as a history, geography, and ecology is a key task for many science fiction or fantasy writers. Worldbuilding often involves the creation of maps, a backstory, and races (If you are writing speculative fiction), including social customs and, in some cases, an invented language for the world. A story doesn't need to contain all these traits, but it should contain many of them.

Question: Are crossovers allowed?

Answer: Yes and no. Crossovers are only allowed if the DC Universe is the main setting. For example, Hunters of Justice qualifies for this collection because, while the main characters are from RWBY, the main setting is located on DC Earth. However, Avenger Goddess does not qualify because, while the main character is Princess of Diana Themyscira/Wonder Woman, the main setting is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with only a few DC elements.

Rules:

  1. All submissions must contain a strong worldbuilding component. That can range from creating an entirely new society to just expanding and adjusting elements of DC Earth.
  2. All submissions must take place in the DC Universe or one of its adaptations, such as the DCAU or the Arrowverse. Combining elements of different adaptations is also welcome
  3. All crossover submissions must comply with rule two to qualify for the collection. So the main characters can be whoever you want, as long as they're having their adventures on DC Earth in the likes of Metropolis or Gotham.
