“Yeah, it doesn’t seem like it?” He scratches the back of his head sheepishly.
“And... you’re not here against your will?”
He considers, and it feels like a surprise when the answer is, “I’m not.”
His follow up, “Huh,” causes Fuyumi to facepalm and Shouto to drop his sword from under the Demon King’s neck and resheath it as he calls off the army that had invaded the castle. Hopefully they hadn’t trampled the flower garden, it’s his favorite.
