Summary
“The roof didn’t collapse because of what I said,” Eddie adds, a little petulantly.
They’ll have to agree to disagree on that one. Because from where Buck’s standing- leaning- trapped- this has cosmic retribution written all over it. The 118 were called to the subway station for a passenger complaining of chest pains. Buck can count on one hand the number of times he’s ever even set foot in LA’s little-known underground railway system. And before the doors to the compartment with their would-be patient could even open, the ceiling gave an almighty rumble and rained down right on top of them.
“Still think you should’ve let me kiss you when we had the chance,” he grumbles.
Buck can be petulant too, thank you very much.
“Did you say kiss? Did he say kiss?!” Chimney’s voice projects from the radio on his shoulder that is not, in fact, broken.
“I definitely heard the word kiss,” Hen confirms.

For the 2022 9-1-1 Bingo square: I’d Climb a Mountain for You
Buck tugs his hand until Eddie is leaning over him, their faces only inches apart.
“I’d climb a mountain for you.”
He looks so serious about it, Eddie does his very best not to laugh. “Is this what you’re always like coming off anesthesia?”
“Epically romantic?”
“…Or something.” He drops a kiss on Buck’s nose and leans back into the plastic hospital chair by his boyfriend’s bed.

Summary
“You still only have one chair,” Eddie points out unnecessarily. Buck is aware that he is currently a one-chair sort of guy. He’s learning to love the armchair life. More or less.
“I did tell you that, Eds. Maybe if you gave a guy some warning I could have reminded you.”
“Buck… you do realize that just because you’re using the couch as some sort of life lesson doesn’t mean you can’t still own more furniture, right?”
Or
Buck chooses an armchair because the couch he wants is already in Eddie’s living room.

For the 2022 9-1-1 Bingo square: Dom/Sub
“Is this what you need?”
The effect of his words is instantaneous; Eddie’s breathing steadies and slows, his eyes flutter shut, and he’s nodding before Buck has finished speaking.
“Tell me.” Buck punctuates his words with another firm squeeze. It’ll bruise, but they both like seeing the faint outline of Buck’s hands on Eddie’s body.
“This is what I need.” His voice is softer now, a few layers shed from the carefully put together Eddie Diaz that the rest of the world sees. Buck doesn’t want that Eddie; he wants his Eddie. The version no one else has ever seen.
“Are you going to be good for me?”
