Summary
It’s a hot night. A sticky night. The type you associate with sparklers and smiling so hard your cheeks hurt and wishing it will never end.
...
Their eyes met and they both started laughing again. It was impossible not to. Laughter of this kind—stomach-clenching, lung-heaving laughter—was addicting.“What are you two laughing about?”
Still laughing, Ronan looked up to see Gansey, Gansey-ish as ever in a mint green polo and borderline atrocious linen shorts. “You and Adam.”
...
It’s a perfect night. It’s a hot night. A sticky night. The type of night you spend with the people you love the most in the world, your family. It’s the type of night you remember because you laughed so hard you cried. -

Isabela is, for what it's worth, not as perfect as she projects.
Others (everyone) might argue that she is, that her beauty and talent are reason enough for the praises they heap upon her, but she's loathe to agree. Sure, she can make pretty flowers, can reduce men to a stammering mess, has the whole town at her feet-
But, watching Mirabel roughhouse with the village children, smile bright and wide, her power seems so... shallow. What does it say about the people, that they're so easily blinded by a haughty attitude and colourful petals?
(what does it say about her, when she isn't enough to save her own sister?)
OR: the one in which the madrigal family assumes the worst, isabela reflects, and bruno makes a comeback at the worst time

Summary
“You’re in love with my daughter,” Abe said. It wasn’t a question.
Lenny flicked the lighter shut and shrugged. “She’s my friend.”
“You’re in love with my daughter,” he repeated.
“I’m not trying to marry her, if that’s what you’re worried about,” Lenny took a drag of his cigarette, arms coming around himself like he was exposed and always, always trying to make a joke out of something.
When Susie collapses during a set, Midge is terrifyingly unshaken. She seems to barely notice, acting as if nothing is wrong despite everyone knowing it is. When she tells her father she plans to do another routine the next night rather than visit Susie in hospital, Abe decides to call a friend.

Summary
Disaster Dameron. That's the nickname he gives her after she wipes out on the playground the first day of school, adding another band-aid to the collection of Disney Princess ones littered across her knees and elbows. She's a sweet little thing, if a bit accident prone, and he genuinely finds himself enjoying having her in his small class of 20 kids.
And then he meets her parents - all three of them.
It starts with Finn, and then he meets Poe, and eventually he meets Rey. And after each smile they throw his way, he starts to think that maybe he's the one who's the disaster. -

Sam and Dean are working a case in Wyoming, but are distracted by news of a dangerous angel called "Castiel" who they can't remember ever having heard of before. The name seems a little bit familiar, but neither of the boys is sure why.
Based off of mid-season 9 (before mark of Cain, before the angel army); takes place several months later, in September 2014. Case fic wrapped in a big ol' amnesia mystery. NO SLASH; the idea is that this is something they could do on the actual show, like a 3-4 episode arc with some mini cases and a cool story running through it all. GETS VERY EMOTIONAL with super strong friendship/family themes, lotsa hurt/comfort, about three metric tons of Cas angst, feels galore, plus monsters and M&M's.
