A short, VHS - style horror game where you step into the shoes of a paranormal investigator. As you venture into the eerie Fervent Campsite, you'll uncover mysterious obelisks with cryptic symbols, abandoned white tents, and an unsettling ritual book.
Average playtime is 10 minutes.

Fervent is inspired by the game "The House In The Woods" and many other VHS style short horror games. I really appreciate the support of every single person, who downloads, plays and has fun with the game. I want to thank specifically "Glitched Velocity" for helping with the screen effects and Pulade - a game developer, who helped me with the sprinting mechanic. There credentials are linked as well.

Another great and unique title Niven! Glad I'm not the only one who struggled with the whole rock hunt lol, but it was worth the long search because it definitely got creepy afterwards.

Interesting little game. It took me a hot minute to find the rock and then the ghoul kinda glitched and got stuck on a tree... but I'm not complaining. Good work!

I played this as my second game in my 3 scary games video. It took me a long time to figure out what to do at fist and honestly almost gave up. but when things got rolling and I knew I was missing something it was great

Hello! Fervent has an amazing retro VHS-style and a great atmosphere. It’s not often that a game gets under my skin like this one did. I highly recommend it. It took me a bit to find the rock, but I’m slow so don’t let that deter you.

Pretty interesting game! I liked some of the eerie sounds and mysterious obelisks. A settings menu and maybe adding a scare in the middle would help. Having that loud sound effect when you beat the game was confusing. Also the Ghoul should probably be faster, maybe increased speed with each candle lit. Keep making games, I can't wait to play them Niven!

The game is a found footage experience, there isn't much of a menu needed, unless you want to change the sound, which you can decrease I guess. That sound effect in the end was the indication of the souls trapped in dolls, who escaped, I thought the note clearly said that. As for the ghoul's speed, yeah, it was super fast when the game was created originally so I had to dial down the speed, but I will make it faster next time.

Creepy atmosphere with a simple but engaging story. Ending is slightly abrupt but it works in the uneasy-ness (game 2 in the video)

My friend, you made another masterpiece. I say this because it took me a while to find a specific rock. XD. You did very well. Kept my mind guessing where this darn thing was! The game itself is astounding with a good Blair Witch vibe. I wanted to blow those statues up cause they reminded me of Doom. (Rip and Tear...).

This was a unique experience. The Demon was cool but I wish he was a tad bit more aggressive to catch the player. Outside of that, I had a good time!
