This is excellent writing. I recently became interested in creating text-based adventures with Inky, but I'm far from this level. No wonder this adventure is having success. I wonder which engine was used to make it.
Coincidentally, I just downloaded Twine and tried to understand how it works. I love it; it's just what I've been looking for. It's perfect for narrative, not as schematized as Inkle. I don't know Renpie, but I think I'll give it an eye in the future.

Was looking through my feed notifications and Scout popped up. I thought it was an update, but it was just a review from someone I followed. I got so sad again, but I'm also so happy that people are still showing love for this WIP. I've commented this before, but this is the IF that got me into reading IFs... It's bittersweet to come back every few months to check. I'm sad that we may never see anymore updates, but I am filled with joy by this community. I love all of my fellow Scouts! ❤️
I just spent an hour and a half reading your story. I love how naturally the story flows, and how all of the choices are tactfully placed and timed. I'm not finishing it tonight, but I'm absolutely blown away by what I've seen so far. Thank you.
I love that people still actively come here to comment. Because of this, a long time ago, I tried this game and was blown away. It was my lead into the world of interactive fiction and has inspired me and opened up my own way to tell stories in this kind of format, since I've never been gifted to do things in a visual novel method regarding art and assets. So thank you Scout, for being so special to so many people. Maybe one day, it will return and we can all rejoice but I dearly hope the writer knows how impactful they are!

in a way, the fact this will most likely never be finished gives it this sort of greatness, any update could steer either way so for now we're left in this limbo where it will always be perfect, and never be.
Hopefully the creator comes back to it, whether to announce its dead or resume updating, as i love everything about it; the settings, characters, motives, how you can't entirely trust either side. It is rather amazing.

It's a terrific story and very well written. Although not finished, the existing content is relatively rich. She is really good at pacing the story, rendering the atmosphere and emotions. When MC flirts with ROs, I can't control my squealing outside of the screen. ( Unfortunately, no sexual content at present, I can do anything for that!!!)
If you're new to this game, please don't feel discouraged to play this game due to the update (2021). It is an extremely well written interactive fiction that is worth playing. I hope you fall in love with this as much as we all have! It's been 3-4 years and Anya still has people coming back... that's got to say something about their writing! Please check it out and at your own risk of a heartbreak worth having lol.
Anya deserves their flowers and may they be showered with all the flowers in the world. Some may think i'm exaggerating but I am not 😭. Trust me.
Please also consider that life happens and realistically Anya does have to cater to their personal life first. Life does take a lot of our time away and I hope we all understand that.

i have never cried harder than today when i realize the last update of this game was 2021. It's a wonderful story so far and im enjoying just replaying through every route.
In my opinion there are similar vibes - dystopian post-apocalyptic deserted world with a small group of survivors and shady government with questionable morales and lots of secrets.
every so often i pop back onto this page just to have a moment of mourning and fond remembrance for one of my first and favorite IFs. RIP scout, you'll always be a pillar of the IF community <33

I have also been making Interactive text-based adventures. I am using Twine!! which is really amazing. But I am also trying to figure out Renpie.
