All location data is stored on the device, no location data is stored or cached on servers.
We collect anonymous analytics data along with crash reports to provide, understand, and improve Alpenglow.
Information cannot be linked to a particular user unless that user manually provides us with their anonymized, randomly-generated identifier.
Users are able to submit field reports within the app, images that you attach to these field reports may include additional data within the image and image metadata.
Information Usage
We use the information we collect to operate and improve Alpenglow.
We do not share personal information with outside parties aside from those needed to accomplish Alpenglow's functionality. We share anonymous usage data with outside parties to improve the app.
Images uploaded to field reports are used to improve Alpenglow. Unless permission has been given by the user for Alpenglow to use uploaded images for marketing purposes.
Security
All communication from the app to backend services is done using HTTPS.

By using and signing up to the Alpenglow app, you consent to our privacy policy.
Children's Privacy
We never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our app is structured to attract anyone under 13.
