  • Forecasting Alternative Vehicle Fuel Options in Japan

    Conducted an analysis of the alternative fuel and vehicle options, specifically liquid fuels from biomass and all electric battery-powered vehicles. Objective was to study the feasibility of these technologies in reducing carbon dioxide emissions from the transportation sector in Japan over the next several decades.     Conducted an analysis of the alternative fuel and vehicle options, specifically liquid fuels from biomass and all electric battery-powered vehicles. Objective was to study the feasibility of these technologies in reducing carbon dioxide emissions from the transportation sector in Japan over the next several decades. My tasks within this project were to provide recommendations for the utilization of all-electric battery vehicle technologies in accordance with Japan's contribution to emissions reductions agreed to under the UNFCCC Paris Accord. I determined the deployment rates for BEVs in Japan over the years 2025, 2035, and 2045 and the corresponding expected carbon dioxide emissions reductions.

  • GreenLeaf Building Rating System for Mumbai, India

    Developed an original building rating system for the city of Mumbai, detailing specific areas of improvement for multi-family residential buildings. Conducted extensive research on the various impact categories considered for sustainable building design. I applied existing global rating systems (such as LEED, Pearl-ESTIDAMA, and BREEAM ), used as references, to contextual data and formed my own structured, Mumbai-specific building rating system.

  • Life Cycle and Environmental Impact Analysis of Battery Technologies
