The UAE Cabinet had approved the establishment of the Supreme Space Council Chaired by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE.

شارك عدنان الريس، مساعد المدير العام للعمليات الفضائية والاستكشاف، وعامر الصايغ الغافري، مساعد المدير العام للهندسة الفضائية من مركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء، في اجتماع مع ممثلي وكالة الفضاء الأوروبية، ومنظمة استكشاف الفضاء اليابانية، ووكالة الفضاء الكندية، ومركز الرحلات الجوية والفضائية الألماني، ووكالة الفضاء الأمريكية (ناسا)، في مدينة كولن الألمانية. تمحور الاجتماع حول مناقشة تقدم العمل في مشروع محطة الفضاء القمرية، وبرنامج أرتميس. يأتي ذلك ضمن سعي مركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء مع الشركاء الدوليين، للعمل على عودة رواد الفضاء إلى القمر، والتحضير لاستكشاف المريخ ووجهات جديدة. Adnan AlRais, Assistant Director General - Space Operations and Exploration Sector and Amer AlSayegh AlGhaferi, Assistant Director General of the Aerospace Engineering Sector from MBRSC took part in a meeting with representatives of European Space Agency, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, Canadian Space Agency, German Space Agency and NASA in Cologne, Germany to discuss about the Gateway lunar space station and Artemis missions. Together, with international partners, MBRSC is making strides towards humanity’s return to the Moon and setting the stage for future exploration of Mars and beyond.

••• رائد الفضاء محمد الملا شارك في مجلس صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، بحضور سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، ولي عهد دبي نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدفاع، رئيس مركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء. وقدَّم الملا جلسة بعنوان "من الصحراء إلى الفضاء"، وتحدث عن الأهداف التي نعمل عليها. Astronaut Mohammad AlMulla participated in the Majlis of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and President of MBRSC. He delivered a presentation titled "From the Desert to Space" and discussed key objectives the Centre is currently pursuing.

••• رائد الفضاء معالي الدكتور سلطان النيادي:  على مدار هذا الأسبوع، نتابع العمل مع طاقم تدريب SEATEST على محاكاة السير على سطح القمر. ‏نقوم بالغوص بين مرتين و3 مرات يوميًا، وتشمل العمليات التي نقوم بها محاكاة نقل الأمتعة من مركبة الهبوط إلى مكان سكن الرواد على القمر.. لدينا الكثير لنتعلمه وننجزه. 🧑🏽🚀 Astronaut H.E. Dr. Sultan AlNeyadi:  Throughout this week, we are continuing the SEATEST training, simulating moonwalks. 🧑🏽🚀 We dive two to three times daily, and our training includes simulating the transport of equipment from the landing spacecraft to the astronauts' habitat. We have much to learn and achieve.

••• رائد الفضاء معالي الدكتور سلطان النيادي: قبل النزول في المحيط الهادئ لبدء محاكاة السير على سطح القمر ضمن تدريب SEATEST، نقوم بتجهيز بدلاتنا ومعداتنا بشكل كامل، وهذا يحتاج إلى الوقت والجهد.. 🤿 حاليًا الحرارة في جزيرة سانتا كاتالينا تبلغ 14 درجة مئوية، وهي أقل من ذلك في الماء، لكن البدلة توفر لنا بعض الحماية من البرد. Astronaut H.E. Dr. Sultan AlNeyadi: Before entering the Pacific Ocean for SEATEST training, we prepare our suits and equipment, which takes time and effort. 🤿 The current temperature at Santa Catalina Island is 14°C, dropping even lower in the water. Fortunately, our suits provide essential thermal protection.

••• سعادة سالم حميد المري، المدير العام لمركز محمد بن راشد للفضاء، شارك في القمة العالمية لصناعة الطيران، حيث قدم جلسةً حول أبرز المحطات والآفاق المستقبلية التي تشكِّل طموحات دولة الإمارات في قطاع الفضاء، وتحدث حول أبرز مهمات المركز والأهداف التي يسعى لتحقيقها لدعم مسيرة الاستكشاف. H.E. Salem Humaid AlMarri, Director General, MBRSC, participated in the Global Aerospace Summit, where he presented a session on milestones and endeavours shaping the UAE’s space ambitions and discussed the Centre’s key missions and objectives that support the advancement of exploration.

••• صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، رئيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، التقى رائدي الفضاء هزاع المنصوري، ونورا المطروشي مع وفد من الشباب الإماراتيين ضمن زيارته إلى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وذلك بحضور معالي يوسف مانع العتيبة، سفير الدولة. H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, met astronauts Hazzaa AlMansoori and Nora AlMatrooshi alongside a group of Emirati youth during His Highness’ visit to the USA, in the presence of H.E. Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States.
