Our ongoing support for the strategic growth of Reach for Health Centres includes connecting NHS suppliers' #socialvalue into more centres and health impact which positively impacts the NHS - including funding of cutting-edge health research from The BERG F.

Through our pluggin ecosystem we've been busy regionally engaging senior police, fire, councils, NHS and criminal justice leadership to connect their procurement for supplier #socialvalue which regionally sustaines charity & social enterprise activities. No mean feat, as all these work in isolation when it comes to locking suppliers' social value commitments into contracts.

Our trustee-based support for East Midlands charity Reach for Health Centres is born from our belief in their #activehealthyageing strategy. Launched in Daventry, their self-sustaining modulised services centre model is unique and focused primarily upon a healthy ageing population suite of services.

With The Public Procurement Act 2024 coming into force soon, we represent a communities-led support for police, council, NHS, fire and CJS commissioners across the UK. A FREE to access and purpose-built ecosystem to utilise which consolidates, facilitates and promotes HOW & WHERE suppliers' social value is contributing to what really matters to communities... After all, communities represent voters and taxpayers, who all want to see an actual social return on the £billions of spending across the UK. Stephen Akinsanya and Habib Rahman have joined me in a new push, to engage their wider UK legal sector exec colleagues in joining a communities-led approach to building safer neighbourhoods - no more words, this is empowerment in taking positive action from inside communities. I've spent the last 18-months building links into the leadership of police, fire and councils - even chasing crime commissioners and metro mayors. This is a deliberate (often slow) process to harness the £ millions in existing public procurement social value, and regionally harness this into community-led programmes. Reach for Health Centres is expanding within our ecosystem - to provide more of their revolutionary support and community health impact. #reachingforhealth is an East Midlands region social value initiative, which sees not just an extension to the Daventry centre & charity HQ, but also the creation of a Northampton Town Reach for Health centre - for 2,500 visits per week. #socialvalue #healthimpact

Exciting developments during January, as we further roll-out the ecosystem-based 'Building Safer Communities Together (#bsct)' social value initiative with the UK's public procurement bodies. Public procurement has embedded this as an end-to-end supplier social social value TOM under: Social: Healthier, Safer and More Resilient Communities. https://lnkd.in/e9uNGM3j To strengthen our ecosystem's charity & social enterprise community for businesses to collaborate with, I've spent January developing relations and inviting sport-based providers who deliver social impact. EFL Trust through Dominik Stingas Paczko is now developing access to our ecosystem for all their Club Community Organisations (CCOs). In addition, England Boxing Ltd through Avoen Perryman is looking at how their 1,040 clubs can be supported. All of these being instrumental to how we build safer communities together. We even have a Top Table of ex: professionals running charities to give back and make positive impact... Yesterday it was a pleasure to welcome to the Top Table, Nasir Akram MBA (SC Clear) and the Round4Round CIC from the Amir King Khan academy in Greater Manchester. Nasir and the team are making huge inroads to youth safety and engagement within deprived areas; using boxing-based programmes and mentoring - joining #bsct for us to help them scale-up for bigger impact.
