Speakers: Wade H. Conlan, PE, CxA, BCxP, LEED AP Wade H. Conlan, P.E., brings over 29 years of commissioning and design engineering experience across diverse projects, including laboratories, central utility plants, hospitality, and healthcare facilities. An ASHRAE member since his student days at Penn State, where he earned a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering in 1995, Wade has held numerous roles, including past Chapter President, Regional Refrigeration Chair, and Vice President for 2023-2025. He has chaired multiple committees, led the ASH RAE Epidemic Task Force's Building Readiness Team, and contributed to many technical publications. Currently, Wade serves as Hanson's Commissioning & Energy Discipline Manager, leading retro-commissioning on over 70 million square feet globally and overseeing commissioning, energy audits, and condition assessments. Erik Malmstrom The CEO of Safe Traces, a Bay Area-based technology company and leader in DNA-enabled diagnostic solutions for indoor air safety, Erik is a successful and experienced thought leader driven to create a better, safer, more sustainable world. Previously, he held senior roles at the Office of the US Trade Representative, Farmers Business Network, and Cargill. He is also a co-founder of Cross Boundary, a leading frontier market investment advisor, as well as a combat veteran and graduate of U.S. Army Ranger and Airborne Schools. Erik received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a joint M.B.A. - M.P.P. from Harvard Business and Kennedy Schools. Dr. Zaatari is a Member of Board of Directors at USGBC, a Member of USGBC Green Schools, School Air Quality Leaders Network: Technical Advisory Committee, and is a member of several ASHRAE committees. - Mr. Ramin Rezaei He holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo. With a decade of experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), he specializes in the design of highly efficient and low-noise fan systems for various HVAC applications. As the Middle East Territory Manager at AgentisAir, Mr. Rezaei combines his technical expertise with a strong passion for sales, focusing his efforts on introducing high-quality air purifiers in the Middle East region.
