Sharing some highlights from yesterday’s Energy Efficiency Working Group meeting, led by Mustapha Aanzi, and graciously hosted by Wael Badawy, Siemens. We were also delighted to welcome Dr.Omer Ahmed Qureshi from Dubai Electricity & Water Authority - DEWA R&D as a guest observer. During the meeting, we explored key strategies to enhance energy efficiency across various sectors. Here are some highlights: 🔹 Mission and Vision Development: Our brainstorming sessions focused on defining our mission and vision, emphasizing CEBC's role in facilitating communication and understanding among stakeholders to advance energy efficiency projects. 🔹 Setting Goals: We outlined both short-term and long-term goals, including raising awareness about energy efficiency issues and establishing initiatives to support these efforts. 🔹 Policy and Regulation Insights: We discussed vital recommendations and global solutions aimed at improving local energy efficiency policies and driving market growth. 🔹 Energy Audits and Savings: We discussed the importance and necessity of energy audits, energy-saving measures in buildings, and the impact of green finance on sustainable development. 🔹 Communication and Outreach: We strategized effective communication approaches, planning campaigns and events to spread awareness and engage with key industry players. The UACA Team joined forces with experts from the Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC).   Together, we delivered a capacity building session that explored key strategies to reduce energy demand and support organizations to achieve their emission reduction targets. Soon, another Thermodynamic Solar installation will be unveiled in Dubai. The venue: Four Points by Sheraton Sheikh Zayed road.
