Dubai Metro has set a global benchmark for operational efficiency and sustainable, environmentally friendly ridership. Since its inauguration on 09/09/2009, the metro has transported over 2.4 billion passengers and completed 4.3 million trips with 99.7 percent punctuality, becoming an integral part of Dubai’s transportation network and economic growth.
