We’re thrilled to highlight two incredible members of our Cranleigh family making waves in the world of netball! Mila, one of our talented students, recently represented the UAE in the Under 21 World Youth Netball World Cup qualifiers. Adding to the excitement, our very own PE teacher, Natalie Bygraves (née Miller), brings a wealth of international experience. Selected to represent England in the Indoor World Cup, she toured both New Zealand and South Africa, helping her team bring home a well-earned victory. Now, as Mila’s mentor, Ms. Bygraves is eager to guide and support her journey. Yesterday, we took another meaningful step in prioritizing staff health by hosting a seasonal influenza vaccination session in collaboration with SEHA Abu Dhabi. This initiative provided convenient access to flu vaccinations while offering valuable insights into the importance of vaccination for safeguarding our health. Held in our offices, the event enabled our staff to prioritize their wellbeing without disrupting their workday, fostering a culture of informed and proactive health decisions. يسر مؤسسة الدار للتعليم الإعلان عن فوزها بجائزة محمد بن راشد لفئة أفضل مبادرة للتعليم باللغة العربية في التعليم المدرسي. تم تطوير هذه المبادرة استنادًا إلى أحدث الأبحاث التربوية التي تعتمد نهج “القرائية المتوازنة”، بهدف توفير تجارب لغوية شاملة للطلبة من خلال عمرهم بالأدب من أجناس أدبية متنوعة، وتعزيز مهاراتهم في القراءة والكتابة. وقد أثمرت البحوث الإجرائية لهذه المبادرة عن نتائج إيجابية أظهرت تحسنًا ملحوظًا في مستويات الصحة والطلاقة والفهم القرائي. كما ركزت المبادرة على تطوير مهارات الكتابة من خلال ورشة الكتابة، حيث شارك ما يقارب من 40,000 طالب وطالبة في مسابقة “أبدع بالعربية للكتابة الإبداعية”، وتم نشر أكثر من 120 كتابًا، مما أثرى الساحة الأدبية لأدب الأطفال والناشئة. #aldareducation
