Welcome to Development Fundamentals. This series of free courses is designed to teach you the essential skills you’ll need as a Shopify developer.

By the end of this learning path, you’ll be able to customize themes according to client requests, explore and extend the Shopify data model to surface custom information in ecommerce stores, and effectively work with Shopify’s APIs to manipulate store data.

Requirements

There are no required prerequisites for Development Fundamentals, but we recommend taking the Introduction to Shopify course for a high level overview of Shopify and its platform.


Prior development experience will also be helpful, especially: HTML tags and structure, Semantic HTML, CSS stylesheets, JavaScript, REST APIs
