CI evaluation server fails #125

Since a few weeks the CI build fails for the evaluation server. Looks like a general setup issue with travis:

$ cp evaluationserver/config/database.travis.yml evaluationserver/config/database.yml
0.04s$ mysql -e 'create database eval_server_test;'
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)
The command "mysql -e 'create database eval_server_test;'" failed and exited with 1 during .
Your build has been stopped.

How can we fix this? Can we do the CI using docker as we do for generator2?
