There are already several proposals for supporting drag-and-drop on mobile devices... It seems that this feature is quite in demand, but no one has implemented it yet... I guess it"s because it"s probably hard to do. At least this way...
So I thought: maybe it would be easier to just add a mode switch for touch devices. - After switching to "Tap-and-point" mode, instead of drag-and-drop, the user taps on the element they want to drag and then specifies the location with a second tap. - Maybe this way would be easier to implement?...
