Introduction

A GitHub Search app made using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express React, Node), with Material UI, TypeScript and Redux Toolkit.
This app is hosted on Heroku.

Search

  • Smart autocomplete feature when searching for users
  • Get user/repository details
  • Open user/repository links directly
  • Copy user/repository links

User Services

  • Secured with JWT (JSON Web Tokens) and HttpOnly Cookies
  • Create an account to add results to your Favourites list
  • Update account password and name

    • Favourites

    • Add user/repository to Favourites
    • Remove user/repository from Favourites
