I'm not sure if there's a discussion around this topic, but I've received warnings that I'll be required to provide a signature to the log_model() function and felt that this should be discussed.

I understand that it's good practice to do this, but this requirement seems a bit stringent. For me, I actually have a model deployed that may not receive all the values expected or may receive additional values. This is acceptable for our case and would like to request that this signature enforcement be allowed to be disabled.
