OS: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

I'm trying to make my own local server according to the instructions to generate tiles. During the installation, I encountered a lot of inconsistencies. At the moment, I am trying to fix the errors I encounter myself, but so far without success.

I met with the fact that the paths are specified incorrectly, it is not said that config.cfg should be taken from the templates folder, the sections of the instructions are out of order, at the stage with loading sql scripts, messages about the absence of tables in the database will be displayed. The scripts also use a gis database, but it does not say that it needs to be created. And many other things.

It is much simpler to deploy, and actively maintained

Thank you. An interesting repository. And the work is really going on there. I looked and as far as I understood the tiles there are only in vector form. I need them in raster format.
