I'm not a native English speaker and I'm not a programmer, it's a bit of a struggle to read the English documentation instructions, but I've translated the comments of the configuration documentation with the help of ai, and I've figured out most of the cudatext configuration parameters, and it's a great editor that grants the user freedom of use.
But on the point of soft line breaks, I didn't get it.
In the “unprinted_content” setting, I see that the hints say something like if “e” in value: Show end-of-lines marks versus if “E” in value: Show end-of-lines marks only for wrapped line parts ( needs “e”).
I thought that if I put both [e] and [E] in the setup, the soft line breaks would be hidden and only the hard line breaks would be shown, but in practice, the hard line breaks are hidden and only the soft line breaks are shown.
In other words, when I set “unprinted_content”: “seE”, the automatic line breaks are not hidden as expected and do not appear anymore. I'm frustrated and the feeling of failure keeps bothering me, I'm not sure where I set it wrong.
