Note: You will need to create an acccount prior to filing a request.
If you are reviewing or using a existing Standard, and the document was published by either of the three geospatial standards organizations in the CIO StandardsTracker, then you should be able to select that standards body below, next, click on "File a Request on the home page, or on the "New" link on any of the following pages.
Below is some helpful information to get you started:
If you believe you identified an inconsistancy, omission, typographic or grammatical error, or problem with a table or figure; AND you have a solution, then you have what it takes to submit a Change Request. That is, you are requesting that the publishing organization make a change to the standard.
A requirement is a request for an organization to add or support something that they do not already cover or support. These might be in the form of a new feature or a new standard. It might need to spawn an New Work Item (ISO), or new Standards Working Group (OGC).
If you have an exisiting standard, simply look at the cover page. If the publisher is one of the three organizations currently particpating in the CIO StandardsTracker, you can click on the appropriate Standards Organization Link below. If the cover page has more than one of these organizations, you may select any one of the organizational links.
Just click on the approriate image at the top of the page.
