Wild Metropolis (野兽大都汇) is a Chinese furry convention， which was started in 2020. It stopped for 2 years between 2021-2023 due to lockdown for COVID-19.

Overview[edit]

Created by by 狮纳 and team, the first Wild Metropolis started in the hall of DoubleTree by Hilton (Chaxi Rd 789, Jiading District, Shanghai), at the end of the same year the first Four Days Flame Festival（四日火光节） was placed in Sheraton Hotel(Jiatang Rd 66, Jiading District, Shanghai).

Mascot[edit]

The mascot of Wild Metropolis is a saber-toothed tiger furry called“脉冲”（Metro）。^[2]

The Wild Metropolis is a city of furry, it travels between worlds and time. Whenever it comes to a place, the hospitable citizens of the city will bring a variety of surprises and joy to the landing place. Behind all the events is the shadow of the same family - the Saber-toothed tiger family.

Metro is a senior event supervisor from the Saber-Toothed Tiger family, and the team under his leadership is always able to take care of various activities in good order - from large exhibitions and roadshows to small birthday parties.

However, the perfectionist Metro had a few imperfect moments. Probably because everything is often under his control and feels bored, so from time to time, he will give some ultra-difficult challenges at the event site. Although the difficulty of the project is too high, few participants can get super attractive prizes, but such activities can often set off the climax of the scene, and everyone does not completely care about the outcome in the end.

Of course, there are also the occasional few times that you encounter a God-level participant, who lets Metro's scene "flip" and he has to cash in the reward out of his pocket. But the thrill of the unexpected far exceeded the pleasure of the money. So even if the "rollover" many times, he is also happy with this temporary "gambler" behavior.

Every city has its urban legend and is no exception. Some people say that Wild Metropolis is just a dream, and there are rumors that the Saber-toothed tiger family seems to be hiding some secrets.

On October 11, 2020, the official Weibo sent a report of waht has happened and it says that the plan for the Four Day Flame Festival convention was stolen.
