Second Ed Mailorder
Second Ed Mailorder, or just Second Ed, is a distribution business that sells products of furry interest to the furry fandom.
History[edit]
Second Ed was started in July 2003 by Ed Zolna, with their mailing address located in Florida, USA.[1]
Closure[edit]
In October 2024, Ed Zolna announced that Second Ed would start to shut down, with the timeline for it being "unknown", maybe either mid-December or early 2025.[2] The site would shut down in the same month on October 24. Ed Zolna wrote the following message on his website's home screen: "SECOND ED has shut down permanently. Sorry for the abrupt notice but Second Ed is a one-man operation and that one man is having health issues that worsened quickly. I'm posting this to provide information and to thank all of you for the support over the last 35 years, both for Second Ed and for the original Mailbox Books. Where does the time go, eh? All customer and order information will be permanently deleted once the website is taken offline. Please do NOT place orders, there's no one available to receive and process them. Thanks again and may God bless you all! Stay Furry.
Sincerely, Second Ed"
The reason given was due to Ed Zolna suffering from terminal cancer.
