IndyFurCon 2010
From WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia.
IndyFurCon 2010 was the first annual IndyFurCon convention. It was held over August 13-15, 2010, at the Hilton Indianapolis North in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The convention was billed as an opportunity for furs in the Midwest to gather with friends and have fun during the "downtime" between conventions. The centralized location in the "Crossroads of America" also opened the event to fans from across the country.
IndyFurCon 2010's theme was "Tropical, Furry, Fun!", and the guest of honor was DBruin, while Uncle Kage, 2, The Ranting Gryphon and Bucktown Tiger provided entertainment.
In the end, 350 attended the event, with 62 in the fursuit parade. The convention supported the Exotic Feline Rescue Center, for which it raised $1,150.[1]
