Her characters include a sea/river otter hybrid named Talula, a shapeshifting fox named Juniper, a werewolf named Jasper, an androgynous serval named Kiki, a ghost cat named Boo, a dragon named Ink, a beast named Jasper, two leeches named Goober and Jester, a wolf named Fell Grey, a werehyena named Marius, a pigeon-dog hybrid named Phoebe, a dragon named Náriel and a tortoiseshell Persian named Tortie Boo.
