Zachary Robert Thomas (born May 26, 1998)[1] is an American professional football offensive tackle for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at San Diego State and was drafted in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL draft by the Bears.[2]

Chicago Bears
[edit]Thomas was drafted by the Chicago Bears with the 186th pick in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL draft.[5] He was waived on August 31, 2022, and re-signed to the practice squad.[6]
Los Angeles Rams
[edit]On November 18, 2022, Thomas signed with the Los Angeles Rams from the practice squad of the Bears.[7] He was released on November 25, 2023, and re-signed three days later.[8][9] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 15, 2024.[10]
New England Patriots
[edit]Thomas was claimed off waivers by the New England Patriots on August 28, 2024.[11] He was waived on November 5.
Houston Texans
[edit]On November 6, 2024, Thomas was claimed off waivers by the Houston Texans.[12]
