Wikimedia Serbia for the third time organized the Wiki Loves Pride project in Serbia. The project consists of photographing two parades: Pride Serbia (June 29) and Belgrade Pride (September 15) and organizing Wiki Loves Pride Edit-a-thon on Serbian Wikipedia (September 10).

This year, Civil Rights Defenders has donated 15 photographs from the previous pride parades held in Belgrade. Thanks to this donation, Wikimedia Commons now has pictures from all successfully held Belgrade Pride events.

Pride Serbia

Pride of Serbia under the slogan "The battle is still ongoing – join in" took place on June 29, 2019 in Belgrade, and was organised by Egal, GLIC and Loud & Queer.

Wiki loves Pride.

Wiki Loves Pride Edit-a-thon in writing new and improving existing articles in Serbian Wikipedia on topics of LGBT rights, persons, organizations, cinematography and all other topics that support human rights and differences was held on Tuesday, 10 September, in the Youth Initiative for Human Rights office in Belgrade. This edit-a-thon had the biggest number of participants so far since the beginning of WLP project in Serbia. For the first time in history of Wikimedia Serbia projects non-binary and trans people were included in participation. A total of 40 new articles were written.

Belgrade Pride Parade

Belgrade’s eighth Pride Parade took place on September 15th, 2019. Thousands took part in Belgrade Pride marching under the slogan ‘’I’m not giving up’’. It was organised by Belgrade Pride Parade Association, Civil Rights Defenders, Da se zna!, Youth Initiative for Human Rights, Gayten LGBT, Izađi and Heartefact.
