My evidence to support the following is [[1]], a statement on the Simple English Wikipedia where the user openly admits to hacking and IP hopping. This user also did the same thing on the French Wikipedia [[2]]. Also see User talk:Ian.thomson#User.Zjec, User talk:NinjaRobotPirate#User.Zjec, and User talk:Materialscientist#Possible vandal activity by User:Zjec for more information and links to the various IPs, with diffs of their edits. [edit]Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims.
- Comment As this involves cross-wiki vandalism, we may need to get a Steward involved. Also, at least one of the IPs listed above confssed to the same thing here on English Wikipedia [3]. (Obviously, the IP's sig was faked. Pay it no mind.) — Gestrid (talk) 06:17, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- Check my IP range comment below, it is quite enough to solve the case without the CheckUsers involvement. --Vitt56 06:23, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- I've requested Steward assistance here. I know it's not technically the right place, but I felt it wouldn't be beneficial to have two separate discussions going on about the same topic. — Gestrid (talk) 06:28, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- Also, CUs are not Stewards. Stewards can globally lock/block accounts and IPs across all Wikimedia projects. CUs can only connect the dots between local users and, if necessary, block them locally. — Gestrid (talk) 06:29, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- Comment Zjec has been known using the 113.210.0.0/16 IP range as well, based on its block log --Vitt56 06:22, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- Meanwhile, User:Materialscientist has blocked the IPs of some of the affected computers as well. --Vitt56 06:25, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- I've contacted User:Bsadowski1 on IRC to request 3 weeks global block on Zjec's IP. --Vitt56 07:50, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- Adding 113.210.67.19. They left this on my Simple Wikipedia talk page. — Gestrid (talk) 13:58, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- Update: Steward User:Tegel has global-blocked the underlying 113.210 IP ranges. 88.208.16.48 (talk) 16:41, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- It's a huge range, so for now it's only globally soft-blocked for 6 hours. -- Tegel (talk) 16:53, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- Still, thank you, Tegel. In the meantime, I'll clean up my talk pages that he vandalized on various projects. Good thing I get notifications from every one each time a new message is posted there. — Gestrid (talk) 16:58, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, thank you Tegel. I don't think he will stop though, he might get a new IP range(although considering he used the same Malaysian IP range multiple times, I don't see the user stopping). Hopefully we won't have to take it to ArbCom... XboxGamer22408talk to me 17:52, 28 May 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Yeah, that's Zjec. Or "the clash troll", as he prefers to call himself. He's some bored kid who pops up intermittently to cause drama, though he seems to think he's some kind of master troll. He uses TM Net, a pretty big ISP in Malaysia. It's difficult to range block it because there's so much collateral damage, not to mention the large number of IP ranges they own. But I don't think there's any hacking involved. Zjec probably couldn't hack into a Windows 95 PC. He posts juvenile taunts and counts on my reluctance to range block busy IP ranges. That's all. If you guys want to contact a steward, try m:SRG and request a global block. If you need help cleaning up, ping me. Materialscientist and Ponyo seem to have it under control, though. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:40, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- @NinjaRobotPirate So can this case be closed speedily now and have his IPs globally locked for 3 weeks since his IPs are already laid bare open? FYI I heard that checkuser will just sneer "they are not for fishing" if they found a super easy case like this. --Vitt56 06:43, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- For the second time, IP editor, Stewards and CheckUsers are two completely different userrights. As blocks are always preventative, this SPI is not likely to be speedily closed. — Gestrid (talk) 15:10, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- I can't help but notice Mr. 203.106 here geolocates to TM Net in Malaysia. I'm sure that's a just a huge coincidence. But, whatever, I'll play along and assume good faith. No, there's nothing here that specifically requires a CU. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 07:52, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- I've contacted User:Bsadowski1 on IRC to request 3 weeks global block on Zjec's IP. He said its too huge and busy to block --Vitt56 07:53, 28 May 2017 (UTC)

- Added User:Zjec two to here for record. The user account in question is a confirmed Zjec sock which got blocked accordingly. Additionally I am that 203.106 guy so changing the signatures to "Vitt56" to prevent confusion. I hope that Zjec won't resurface again. --Vitt56 07:15, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- I have added sock tags to all Zjec socks that are listed here, so clerks/checkusers you may archive/close this case as you wish. --Vitt56 07:32, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- Everyone here is blocked. Case closed. Vanjagenije (talk) 17:57, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
