Comments by accused parties    See Defending yourself against claims. The reason I created the account User:Austin Tsar 555 is beacause I forgot my password to my account User:Austin Tsar444. I was not aware there was a rule against creating more than one account unless your previous accounts are retired until now. I have since retired User:Austin Tsar444 by using my account User:Austin Tsar 555, which I did write down the password for. I understand that I am also accused of vandalism. The only reason I created the first account User:Austin Tsar444 was to create a page for Perry Park, Kentucky, however due to certain reasons my dream of the perfect page for Perry Park was not created. I have since realized that I could not source all that information. Beacause I believe the page Perry Park, Kentucky will not ever be what I intended it to be, as author of the page I wish I could delete in on good faith. I believe this will be for the better of Perry Park and Wikipedia until some one who can source the information arrives and creates the article. However since the actual page I created it on is unaccessible and retired I would understand it if the article stays. My only wish is to get this sockpuppetry case over with and retire this account. I will then start a new account on a clean slate and contribute towards a better Wikipedia. I apologize for any rude behavior I may have had in the past, and understand why this is happening. Please forgive me and I hope I will be aquitted of any charges.--Austin Tsar 555 (talk) 19

The two accounts are obviously connected to each other. I'm hesitant to block any of the accounts. I don't see abuse/disruption from the accounts either. What I do see is a new user, so I would prefer to help them rather than blocking them. I think we should just assume good faith. --Kanonkas :  Talk  16:04, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I blocked the puppet-master for one week for a history of disruptive editing and edit-warring on Perry Park, Kentucky. Blatant Socks were blocked indefinitely. I find the "retirement" and "forgetting" of passwords highly dubious as they supposedly happened merely one day before the editor continued to edit-war and post misleading speedy deletion templates on the page in question.
