Joshua Katz (talk|edit|history|logs|links|watch) (restore)

Page on a living Princeton professor created by a new user, barely referenced. I tagged it for DB:ATTACK for what looked like sophomore bitching buried in an otherwise benign text. Author contacted me insisting that it was, in fact, subject's sphere of interest and, oops, it is google refs. Request userifying to User:Joost.b for proper referencing of ... genitals. NVO (talk) 09:34, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Restored to User:Joost.b/Joshua Katz, but I had to remove the not-really-an-attack paragraph because is was a copyvio. I'll drop a line to the Joost.b letting him/her know where to find it and adding a few words about the copyvio issues.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 13:07, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Larry Gambone (talk|edit|history|logs|links|watch) (restore)

I would like a look at this to explore the tenability of recreation with references.  Skomorokh  22:19, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

 Done Userfied to User:Skomorokh/Larry Gambone.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 20:18, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Much appreciated Fabrictramp, thanks.  Skomorokh  21:14, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Lucifugum (talk|edit|history|logs|links|watch) (restore)

I'd like this undeleted because this band is of the same notability as Diaboli, Clandestine Blaze, Deathspell Omega, Xasthur, Black Funeral and many other bands of the same status. According to the rule #5 of criteria for musicians this band has released 3 albums on big indie labels Drakkar_Productions and Blackmetal.com.--Black pauk1488 (talk) 22:35, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Userfied to User:Black pauk1488/Lucifugum. However, I really urge you to have an experienced editor (or possibly several) look it over after you fix the issues brought up at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lucifugum. Otherwise it runs a strong risk of another G4 speedy deletion.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 00:19, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sanchana (talk|edit|history|logs|links|watch) (restore)

I would like this undeleted in order to transwiki it to wiktionary - seems like a perfectly valid word for inclusion there ThaddeusB (talk) 14:19, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

 userfied to User:ThaddeusB/Sanchana. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 15:37, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Toner conservation (talk|edit|history|logs|links|watch) (restore)

I'd like this undeleted in order to transwiki it to wikibooks - it seems like a perfectly decent how to guide. ThaddeusB (talk) 14:09, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

 Userfied to User:ThaddeusB/Toner conservation. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 15:35, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
DeMatha Catholic High School (talk|edit|history|logs|links|watch) (restore)

restore page, school is not a hoax nor is it too small to have a page MDfoo (talk) 11:39, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done Already undeleted by Juliancolton --Ron Ritzman (talk) 02:34, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

CME Globex (talk|edit|history|logs|links|watch) (restore)

Did everything per speedy deletion instructions (hangon; talk page User talk:Henry Delforn; add info; add citations, etc) but regardless, i was not given sufficient time to fix the hour-old new article despite applying 2 tags in response to the speedy deletion tag. Now have collected more citations from independent reliable sources that i would like to add to the article. Henry Delforn (talk) 19:50, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Further information: Talk:CME Globex From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search The CME Globex system represents the vast majority of business for the CME Group. And hence, needless to say, notible. It represents the latest generation of worldwide electronic trading in contrast to traditional open-outcry trading. CME Globex from inception has had a life of its own apart from open outcry (the pit) as a business competitor to the pit deserving of a separate article. While in agreement that the initial creation of this article may not be NPOV, it is also why the "actively undergoing a major edit" tag was inserted.Henry Delforn (talk) 23:28, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Henry Delforn (talk) 19:53, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've restored the article in my userspace at User:Dank/CME Globex and added a {{noindex}} tag; don't remove that. Feel free to work on the article. I'll ask at Talk:Chicago_Mercantile_Exchange how much of this material they'd like to include at Chicago_Mercantile_Exchange#Electronic_trading. - Dank (push to talk) 02:05, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting full undeletion. Henry Delforn (talk) 19:06, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not done The advertising copy really needs to be dealt with at a minimum before it goes into article space. (The merge issues can be dealt with at any time).--Fabrictramp | talk to me 13:19, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
User:Henry Delforn/userboxing8/ (talk|edit|history|logs|links|watch) (restore)

User, Henry Delforn (talk · contribs) feels I should not have deleted this. Bringing it here for review on behalf of the creator. I deleted it as an attack userbox. Ordinarily, I would not speedy something in user space. Ordinarily, if someone challenges a speedy of mine, I restore and Xfd. But this crosses the line into attack page territory. Although this is in user space, I feel the gravity of disparagement outweighs the greater lenincy in user space. See also his note on my talk page. Dlohcierekim 22:54, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. Although the user maintains that the box is okay because of a reference contained in it, it seems to violate Wikipedia:USERBOX#Content_restrictions. If he still wants to pursue undeletion, DRV would probably be best because of the content restrictions issues.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 16:05, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Keith Simmons (talk|edit|history|logs|links|watch) (restore)

I am not 100 % sure what CSD G12 means, if it has something to do with noteworthieness, things have changed since 2007, for Keith Simmons now plays for a major league basketball team, even if it is in Germany. 84.160.224.177 (talk) 23:56, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. CSD G12 is for copyright infringements, which is one we can't restore, and has nothing to do with notability. (See Wikipedia:CSD#General for more on this.) However, there's nothing to stop you from writing a new article, assuming you're willing to register for an account.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 00:12, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
