Article about a defunct private school, "referenced" to a contextless and unfootnoted smattering of glancing namechecks of its existence in books about other things, and primary source content in the personal archives of individual alumni. There's literally no reliable source coverage about it being shown at all -- but the volume of content that can't possibly be supported by any of the listed references is extremely high, thus suggesting that a lot of this is either WP:OR or WP:SPIP. So no prejudice against recreation in the future if somebody can find the reliable source coverage needed to write and reference the article properly, but the blow it up and start over principle pertains here -- too much of the existing content is both unreferenced and unreferenceable to retain it in this form, because conflict of interest editing is the only possible explanation for how an article can simultaneously contain this much deep detail and this little actual referencing for any of it. - Rename to Thornton Hall, Toronto and WP:TNT Here's a Toronto Star news article that talked about the private school briefly [1] And someone posted a Toronto Star article about its closure [2] which would indicate significant coverage. Someone can verify its actual appearances in the papers based on that site. The general Thornton Hall should be a disambiguation since there are other Thornton Halls discussed in the Wikipedia such as Thornton Hall, High Coniscliffe (two dab), Nancy Drew: Ghost of Thornton Hall (PTM), and Thornton Watlass Hall (PTM), and a Thornton Hall as mentioned in Cotton-Sheppard baronets. - A lot of the text is very likely to be original research or copied from a text somewhere. I could comment it out until it can be written and referenced neutrally. But it isn't primary topic for Thornton Hall, as the one in Thornton, Buckinghamshire is more noteworthy [3] and there are other Thornton Halls as found in the Thornton Hall (disambiguation) page I created. That Buckinghamshire one is currently being used as a private school as well. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:24, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:TNT as there's clearly some undisclosed COI editing going on, and only recreate if GNG-worthy sources are provided for Wikipedia editors to examine. Exemplo347 (talk) 15:38, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
