The result was delete. While a case has been made for why a redirect isn't a viable ATD, there is no case made for removing copy from the article on Rapace. That, however, is also not integral to this AfD and the discussion can close while that conversation happens elswhere. Star Mississippi 00:49, 28 October 2023 (UTC)

Both PROD and ATD-R options have been disputed, so sending to AfD per the most recent objectio for outright deletion. Rationale: No actual production news was reported to meet WP:NFF. The production info was being forecasted or reported a scheduled start. Being unreleased, it also has no reviews to contribute to notability. -2pou (talk) 19:05, 20 October 2023 (UTC)

- Redirect to Noomi Rapace#Filmography, where it is mentioned and where the sources currently in the article can be added. -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 20:28, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- Redirect to Noomi Rapace#Filmography, fails WP:NFF DonaldD23 talk to me 21:44, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- Delete (oppose redirection) since other subjects with articles, such as Michael Shannon and Matthias Schweighöfer, are also mentioned in this article. To redirect to one notable subject of multiple subjects attached to a project makes no sense and puts WP:UNDUE weight on one subject over the others. In fact, the link/mention of the nominated subject should be removed from Noomi Rapace, given that the subject is not mentioned in neither Michael Shannon nor Matthias Schweighöfer. - Comment: Except that the film is mentioned in Rapace's page and not in that of any other member of the cast FORAGOODREASON as she plays the lead role (see synopsis), and her character is the main focus of the story; and the project is/was centred on her. Yes, it does make sense.-My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 05:23, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
- Since this film is not an biographical film about the actress Noomi Rapace (not the character she plays), your comment in no way invalidates my comment. For example, Michael Shannon is a well-known actor, and the fact that he is/was attached to this project could reasonable result in people searching for him in relation to this film. Again, redirecting this title to Noomi Rapace is a heavy batch of WP:UNDUE. The mention of the film should probably be removed from the article as well. Steel1943 (talk) 08:16, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply. I had understood your !vote, which I thought was clear from the start, and obviously respectfully disagree. If one of your concerns is that other actors would not be mentioned anywhere, I had planned to add their names in the line I said I was willing to add or in the table. Sources prove that the project was centered on Rapace not on them, and their roles are less important (even if they are notable actors, that is not the point) so that the redirect would only reflect reality duly and not unduly at all. Should anyone share your concerns, List of abandoned and unfinished films could be a target but I still think Noomi Rapace is the best target. -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 09:16, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
- Umm, I'm not sure where it can be assumed I did not understand your point. Anyways, here's precedence for my stance on this via WP:RFD discussions to delete such redirections:
- I can probably find more as I found a mess of these redirects at points during the past few years, but that's all I could find at the moment. Also, see WP:XY for more explanation on why the redirection to the actor is unhelpful: Potential ambiguity. Steel1943 (talk) 15:22, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
- In addition, I oppose the redirection to List of abandoned and unfinished films; per the list of incoming links to List of abandoned and unfinished films, there are no other such redirects that target that page (see WP:PANDORA). Steel1943 (talk) 15:30, 21 October 2023 (UTC)

. Probably when you replied saying it was not a biographical film about Rapace, but never mind. You will note that if the Rfds you mention are relevant or comparable, 2/5 had been kept as redirects to main actor/director. But there's no need to look for other redirects kept or deleted, as again, in the present case, sources tend to prove this film project is strongly associated with Rapace and this redirect being useful, I will leave it at that.-My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 16:07, 21 October 2023 (UTC)- ...No, you misunderstood my point since the reason why I stated that is that is the only situation which would result in my supporting this title being a redirect: If the film was biographical and targeted its subject. And again, no, targeting Noomi Rapace is not useful here since the title could potentially target multiple subjects as a redirect, and is thus ambiguous. And yeah, I'm also tired of talking in circles. Steel1943 (talk) 16:30, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
