According to Wikipedia:Notability (books), a notable book should be subject of at least two non-trivial published works that are independent of the book itself. One of the citations in the article is the book itself and two are not about the book. Pahlevun (talk) 19:53, 4 October 2021 (UTC)

- Keep. Did the nominator try to find at least two non-trivial published works? Using the search links above I found Self-orientalisation and reorientation: a glimpse at Iranian Muslim women’s memoirs and a review in The Humanist. pburka (talk) 20:18, 4 October 2021 (UTC)
- The first link is actually trivial. Pahlevun (talk) 20:25, 4 October 2021 (UTC)
- Keep WP:BKCRIT#1 this appears to be an important work which is referenced and referred to in many areas. Just a look at books. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. The book was also reviewed by Barbara Stocker. The work is notable. Lightburst (talk) 22:22, 4 October 2021 (UTC)
- Keep As it has already mentioned above the work is definitely notable. I add a powerful review by Norm R. Allen Jr. in this edition of Free Inquiry (Summer 2000, Vol 20, No 3, pp. 64-65) and this review by Banafsheh Zand and Sophie Baron. At the time the book was released some Islamic activists attempted to stop the book and falsely redirected the book content to Islamophobia. The work has been referenced is researches by academics severally. Gharouni Talk 08:15, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
- I withdraw the nomination since two non-trivial book reviews published by Free Inquiry and The Humanist do exist. Pahlevun (talk) 09:20, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
- Procedural Close: Nomination withdrawn. --Whiteguru (talk) 10:42, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
