A promotional list of channels disguised as article. The list has no notability of its own. The list is not even good enough for merging with beIN Media Group The Banner talk 17:58, 14 February 2017 (UTC)

- I don't understand: many of the individual channels have articles, such as beIN Sports 4. Why wouldn't a list complement Category:BeIN Sports -- indeed, it goes beyond that, to group all company-owned channels -- but why wouldn't this be a good example of the sort of thing discussed in WP:CLN, with a list, category and navbox Template:Al Jazeera performing complementary functions? Shawn in Montreal (talk) 18:59, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
- My concern is more about the content in the list, which appears to lump legitimate BeIN channels with things like Turner Classic Movies or Fox, which I guess are carried by them in certain territories? That's where this list may run into issues. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 19:11, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
- It's for a satellite provider, which is why those networks are listed; the nominator is purposefully obfuscating what the entity is to bend commenters towards a delete. Nate • (chatter) 02:10, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- The content in the list accurately reflects the actual channels offered on beIN. I improved it in order to make it even more accurate. Go check beIN's channel list and compare the list in this article to the list on their website - there are no channels not offered by beIN, and no channels that are officially absent from beIN. - Keep Known MENA satellite provider, though per the past deletion discussions for DirecTV, Dish Network and U-verse for their 'list of channels' articles, this hits WP:NOTTVGUIDE and those lists should be cut and the article refocused on the basics of their DSS service. - Redirect to beIN Media Group - no need to keep a list of channels here IMHO. --Slashme (talk) 14:34, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- Keep per Nate. I agree that the list should be cut back to their own channels, so as to avoid WP:NOTTVGUIDE. But there are clear advantages to using a list to browse for readers, so I don't think it's for us to say that there's 'no need'. This appears to me to be a valid member of Category:Lists of television channels (which I've just added). Shawn in Montreal (talk) 18:29, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- Oh and my preference, based on what I see as the role of this page, would therefore be to rename to something like List of BeIN channels. Would others agree? 18:32, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- Keep: I agree with the points made by Nate and Shawn. Glad Zakawer made improvements. I see no problem with keeping this article! Cheers - Ret.Prof (talk) 19:43, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
