Some of the images (I know you know which ones are from the Qing Dynasty's rotk) are from the same author who drew the one for Kongming.

[edit]Check out the shortcuts (WP:3K-NC, WP:3K-BIO etc) I've created for some parts of the project page. We can use these shortcuts in edit summaries to replace lengthy explanations when we revert edits. I've also added a section for "Family" in WP:3K-BIO. Maybe you can help to write something for that part. We need to impose limits on who to include in family sections, or else we'll see editors starting to add family members for Three Kingdoms people up to 18 generations. Non-free rationale for File:Princesstenko.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Princesstenko.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Do you think 309 minus 220 is 81? Correct it! Did you use the word the same information in better prose? Do you think your sentence is better prose?? Shitting dogs laugh. You made information LOSS, cause you deleted the fact that Emperor Xian's grandson died in 289. You deleted it! YOU MUST not use the same information. Haha, certainly you have never written a paper? I left some comments in Zhang Jue page
[edit]I left some comments in Zhang Jue page. I just added some comments in comment form. I just added it, therefore you do not have to reply on it and this message in your talk page.(Gauge00 (talk) 08:44, 22 August 2012 (UTC))
I like to add more comments here. Let's visit Incident at Gaoping Tombs. I added Empress Dowager Guo (郭太后). If there is 郭太后 characters, it is very helpful to someone like me, cause 郭太后 teaches that 郭 character is sounded like guo in chinese. Also they are very hhelpful to distinguish Zhang Yi. There is so many Zhang Yi. You surely know that there are so many Zhang's in china. How could we distinguish them? There spelling!(Gauge00 (talk) 08:56, 22 August 2012 (UTC))
- We have to bear in mind that the readers are predominantly English speakers who don't understand Chinese characters, thus we should strive to use other ways to distinguish them. _dk (talk) 09:00, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
Hello I'd like to add one more time. I added 大將軍 at General-in-Chief (大將軍). I added (大將軍) mainly because I DO NOT know exactly what the 大將軍 is, so I searched 大將軍 in wiki, just copied it on my page. The reason is simple, I wanted someone who have so much knowledge about chinse histoy and chinese lauguage would come. He could delete 大將軍 because he thinks " 大將軍 is here translated general-in-chief. OK. good tranlation! Haha some moron once tranlated 大將軍 as chef-in-chicken, but gauge00 translated correctly here" Therefore if you not know what the 大將軍 is at 100% certainty, you should not delete it!!!
In Zhage Jue I added General of the People (人公將軍: Lord of Human). Yes I do not know what translation is correct. General of the People is original one, which exists before, Lord of Human is from the A tranlation. I just added for the case when lord of human is better than general of the people. just comment.you dont have to reply(Gauge00 (talk) 09:15, 22 August 2012 (UTC))
deleted as per request. 龐舒 is "Pang Shu" and he's actually historical as his name was mentioned once in the 英雄記 ====== I wanted to say that wiki search for 龐舒 shows NO result. There is NO page that contains 龐舒. If someone wanted to know about 龐舒 in wiki, and he does not know the 'Pang Shu, he certainly be frustrated! Same story could be applied to 人公將軍. I recommend you to wiki search 人公將軍 just for example. (Gauge00 (talk) 09:15, 22 August 2012 (UTC))
- I do have to wonder why would anyone want to search in Chinese on the English Wikipedia, but I digress. The translation issue is a valid one, and we typically follow the scholar Rafe de Crespigny's translation for consistency. I have listed his translations for the more common titles here at User:Deadkid_dk/WP3K_stuff. _dk (talk) 09:19, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
- I wish you continue to edit [[Army of the Western Garden] by translating [1]. And I'd like you do not delete chinese characters whenver possible. Sure, deleting is your freedom. Though I'd like you to know what there could be so many people who hinted by those chinese characters. just comments.(Gauge00 (talk) 09:50, 22 August 2012 (UTC))
- Cao Ren maybe a good translation for 曹仁 for chinese people. However there are koreans and vietnamese and japanese. They have different pronunciation of 曹仁. For them Cao Ren could not be helpful to know what the Cao Ren is. So for them 曹仁 could be a good hint. As you said, this wiki is English wiki. But other languages users visist this English wiki. Danish, Irish, German, French, Indian users could follow Cao Ren pronunciatin easily for 曹仁. However, vietnamese, koreans, japanses have their own chinese pronunciations already. Anyway just thought. (Gauge00 (talk) 10:02, 22 August 2012 (UTC))
- There are Danish, Irish, German, French, Indian, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese Wikipedias. Plus, countries that use the Latin alphabets mostly follow pinyin to romanize Chinese characters anyway. Also, it is in the guidelines that Chinese characters are not to follow subjects that already have their own article (blue links) unless necessary. _dk (talk) 23:48, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
- Though I dont like your deletion of chinese characters, but you are a gentleman compared to someone, cause many days before someone visisted my newly created page instantly after it was created, he changed every years to links, like 189 into [[189]]. He even inserted fifth year of Zhongping, 189 like(Gauge00 (talk) 08:37, 23 August 2012 (UTC))

「臣等殄滅,天下亂矣。惟陛下自愛!」
[edit]Zhang Rang was chased by solders and realized that he has no option but the death, he knelt down to Emperor and bowed two times and said that 「臣等殄滅,天下亂矣。惟陛下自愛!」. You could find these at chinese wiki of Emperor Shao, son of Emperor Ling. Would you translated it? I thought once like this "by the death of mine, if the world could be calm, then I would think this is the favor of my Emperor.". Naturally mine was incorrect. Some said it "I would die. Your majosty keep yours forever!", then what one earth the meaning 天下亂矣is? Could you translate it? (Gauge00 (talk) 08:47, 23 August 2012 (UTC))
- "We are exterminated, the world is in chaos. May your majesty maintain yourself!" _dk (talk) 09:33, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. I thought before 天下亂矣 has special meaning, but just has just its meaning. 天(sky) 下(below)亂(chaos) 矣(it is). The sentence is from bio of Rang Rang of Book of Later Han. (Gauge00 (talk) 09:44, 23 August 2012 (UTC))

Regarding CY Leung's page...
[edit]Regarding CY Leung's page... Sep. 7, 2012
While a pretense of neutrality on Wikipedia is critical, is it at all possible to indicate the current protests occurring in HK right now under the "Controversy" section of the page? I mean, the "He will destroy Hong Kong by 2017." line should be addressed by adding in appropriate documentation regarding the protests... That way any more vandalism can be avoided.
In fact, why not make an entire section about it?
- That would be most welcomed. Everything is better with proper context. (Though there is already a main article for the National and Civic Education in Hong Kong) _dk (talk) 23:26, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
