[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Rajat Tokas has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): tinypic\.com (links: http://tinypic.com", http://i25.tinypic.com/2yxqk5h.jpg"). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 18:44, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Removing Speedy at ITA Awards 2007
[edit]Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you created, as you did with ITA Awards 2007. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:
Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 21:54, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of SamuTorrents.com
[edit]A tag has been placed on SamuTorrents.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb1 (talk) 22:46, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:28, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Your signature
[edit]When you sign messages, you are using a signature that does not link to your userpage or your talk page. In general, you can format your signature how you wish, but you should always have a link to either your userpage or user talk page in it. See WP:SIG. Cheers! --Jayron32 23:50, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Your Help desk question
[edit]In reply to your question on the Help desk: Please read WP:WEB, particularly the “Criteria” section. Consider whether SamuTorrents.com satisfies those criteria. Articles about web content are accepted on Wikipedia only if they meet one or more of those criteria. Your article was speedily deleted because it did not indicate how SamuTorrents.com meets the criteria. —teb728 t c 04:29, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Rajat Tokas.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Rajat Tokas.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image with an unknown source or an unknown copyright status which has been tagged as such for more than 7 days, and it still lacks the necessary information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. hmwithτ 13:42, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
A photo of Rajat Tokas
[edit]For a photo of Rajat Tokas Wikipedia needs one that is licensed for use by anyone anywhere for anything. On the Help desk you said he is a personal friend of yours. If so the easiest way to get a photo of him is for you to take your camera and make a photo yourself. That way you could upload it with a free license like {{cc-by-sa-3.0}}. Or you could get a photo from his publicist or manager, but they would have to follow the procedure at WP:COPYREQ or WP:DCM. And a photo by a professional photographer is almost never free enough.
As for the photo you already uploaded: It probably cannot be used. If I understand correctly, it is a screenshot from a television program. If so, the rights to it are owned by the producer, and they probably would not grant the required license. —teb728 t c 21:36, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
File source problem with File:SamuTorrents.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:SamuTorrents.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:55, 4 August 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —SpaceFlight89 13:55, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (File:SamuTorrents.gif)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:SamuTorrents.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 01:39, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
