Deletion discussion about WISE J064336.71-022315.4

[edit]

Hello, Meli thev,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether WISE J064336.71-022315.4 should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/WISE J064336.71-022315.4 .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited WDJ0914 1914, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page SDSS (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:09, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Columba association

[edit]

Hello, Meli thev,

Thank you for creating Columba association.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Already the first sentence contains several pieces of jargon and specialized terminology that will be confusing for a lay reader. An initial context-setting phrase ("In astronomy"?) would help. Also consider unpacking sentences slightly: technical writing can often be made more intelligible just by conveying the same information over more sentences, ideally with increased context for people not in the field.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Joel B. Lewis}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Request to review V1400 Cen/J1407b

[edit]

Hi,

Since you specialize in brown dwarfs and substellar objects, I would like to ask you if you would be willing to help review the V1400 Centauri/J1407b article, which I've been rewriting/updating since the start of this month. I'm pretty much finished with rewriting the entire article, and now it just needs some checking for factual accuracy and clarity before I decide to nominate it as a Good Article. Thanks! Nrco0e (talk) 02:32, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I will have a look. Meli thev (talk) 09:03, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! As this is considered a WP:Good article, primary sources like blogs shouldn't be used (yes, I also used some at first but had to get rid of them during the GA nomination process). We can't state with certainty that any of these is "the oldest mention" ever, which would be WP:Original research. However, if secondary sources do discuss these specific blogs, please feel free to add them! Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 18:23, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. Maybe you can add them to the talk page of the article if that is possible. So that they don't get lost/are more accessible for other. It was not easy to find them. I am not interested to dig deeper myself and I don't like to engage in conversations. Meli thev (talk) 18:33, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
