Speedy deletion nomination of Uracratia
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that Uracratia, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a test page. (See section G2 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
- It is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. (See section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
- It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. (See section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. List of countries by external debt
[edit]Your review has errors. There are countries with data in “trillion” and others in “billion”, therefore the current order of countries on the list is wrong. Look the list.YMVD (talk) 14:34, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
- I know this. It was like this before. I tried to resolve it, by turning unformatted values in formatted ones. It didn't help.
- I'm afraid I have to remove the formatting template from all the entries in the list.
- I'm trying out different ways. If You got a suggestion: Talk:List_of_countries_by_external_debt#The_problem_to_sort_this_table Manorainjan 14:43, 31 July 2023 (UTC)

Categories
[edit]You cannot assume that I, or anybody else, have the necessary background knowledge of the subject matter to create the category for you. In order to create the category, I would have to already know what "Ashoka Finland Fellows" even is in the first place; and I would have to already know what its correct parent categories would be, because all categories always have to be subcategories of other categories, and cannot just sit around uncategorized any more than articles can; and I would have to already know of at least four other articles that could be filed in it right away to make it large enough to justify its creation, because Wikipedia does not immediately create "members of such-and-such organization" categories for every organization that has one member with an article, and waits until there are a lot of members with articles.
And since the redlinked category report only runs once every three days, there are over 150 redlinked categories to deal with each time it runs — which means I don't have the time to put in 15 or 20 minutes of research into each redlinked category to determine any of those things, either: that would mean I could only get through three or four categories per hour, meaning that it would take me 50 hours (i.e. more than two days even if I powered through it without taking any time to sleep or eat) to clean up the entire list, only to have it throw up a whole new set of 150-200 redlinked categories the moment I was done, thus leaving me with no time to do anything else at all.
So for all of those reasons, it's not my job to create redlinked categories for you. Bearcat (talk) 22:16, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
