RE
I can see that this is your first GA review. Thanks for reviewing it, though. But its just that the redirects are O.K. Its not really a problem. Just wanna let you know that. GamerPro64 (talk) 02:23, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- I left a comment on the review in case you didn't noticed. I really need to know. GamerPro64 (talk) 20:21, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
UM, again, for reviewing the Riddick game. But can you close the review to officially make it GA? GamerPro64 (talk) 01:01, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
WP:AFC/R problems
Ermm...sorry to burst in, but I noticed that your recent submissions have been off. [1]. Please consider the requests more seriously in the future. I've accepted both of them, as they are perfectly valid requests. Cheers, I'mperator 16:11, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
mediation
hello MacMed - thanks for offering to mediate the Little Richard case. i'm the one who put in a request for mediation, but i have a few questions before i sign the agreement, if that's okay (i'll watchlist the page so please reply here - thanks):
1] does the fact that you've opened the case mean you've gotten acquainted with it and feel MedCab intervention is appropriate? if MedCab mediators don't normally deal with conduct issues, maybe other forms of intervention are needed.
2] while waiting for a MedCab mediator to take on the case, i put "eyes needed" requests on some project pages and noticeboards, and a couple more editors have taken an interest. i didn't add them to the list of involved parties on the MedCab request, but should they be asked if they want to participate in the mediation?
3] in the interim some of the same problems have started leaking onto the Rock and roll article (see the edit history and talk page). should that be added to the case?
4] can you tell me/us something about yourself, including your experience with dispute resolution and on Wikipedia? thanks for understanding that this situation feels like it needs an experienced mediator, perhaps an administrator. Request
Would it be ok if I co-mediated this case along side you? PhilKnight (talk) 11:38, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
- That would be great. Actually, something has come up and I will not be on Wikipedia for about a week (until next Sunday or Monday), so it would be great if you could handle this until then. I will be happy to co-mediate when I get back. Sorry if I am dumping this on you, and sorry to you, Ssoul, for abandoning a mediation case as soon as I take it. Regards, MacMedtalkstalk 00:39, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (File:SMACX Diplo.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:SMACX Diplo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. FileBot (talk) 21:05, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Your RfA
I have closed your RfA per WP:NOTNOW. There seems to be an unfortunate prejudice against people who run for adminship before having 6 months experience. However, we value your contributions highly, and are sure that you'll be successful in a few months' time. Cheers, King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 23:33, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- MacMed, are you happy about your RfA being closed so early like this? NOTNOW seems dreadfully unsuitable to you in my opinion. While the result is unlikely to be different, you may wish the nomination to remain open so that you can use it to gain feedback from other editors. For this reason, I think King of Hearts should have at least asked you before closing this. Regards, — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:27, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- I trusted King of Hearts' judgement, as he is much more experienced than I, but I would like for the RfA to remain open. As much as it is unlikely for the RfA to pass, almost all the opposes are entirely based on experience, and I would hope others would look at the content of the few contributions I have. I am going to restore the RfA to the main page. Thank you for your comment and concern. Regards, MacMedtalkstalk 15:12, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- I would have happily done that for you, but okay. Anyway, the result is not in doubt so just try to take the comments constructively :) — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 15:43, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- I've decided that it's pretty much an editor review now, so I may as well take the criticism :) I appreciate it. Thanks, MacMedtalkstalk 15:45, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- On my RfA noticeboard, it says your RfA was expired. What gives? Airplaneman talk 19:01, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry about closing your RfA early. I hope you'll get plenty of advice so you can do better the next time around. :-) King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 20:14, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- MacMed, despite a lack of all-around experience (which I would normally oppose or neutral over), I decided to support the RfA since you have a good demeanor and I'm actually not finding many problems in your contribs. Take people's advice, spend more time gaining experience around here, and you should really consider another RfA a few months down the road. JamieS93 20:27, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

(outdent) To King of Hearts, no problem, and thanks. To JamieS93, I know that this RfA is not going to pass, but I decided to leave it open so that I could obtain community input on what to improve upon in a second RfA. Thanks for your support. Regards, MacMedtalkstalk 20:32, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
