Oh, by the way, good call here[1], this is a common mistake people make, thanks for catching it. HighInBC (Need help? Ask me) 23:47, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
helpme
[edit]Does anyone know how to get a hit counts for specific Wikipedia pages for certain periods of time (sorry if this question is asked else where but I could not find it)Lonjers 07:45, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- You cannot get that kind of information for any particular page (I believe it was decided that it was too much strain on the server), but there are links at Special:Statistics to let you see the 100 most popular pages. --Sopoforic 04:35, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
I'm happy to help, even if you found the info yourself. Incidentally: As a courtesy for other editors, it is a Wikipedia guideline to sign your talk page and user talk page posts. To do so simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments and your user name or IP address and the date will be automatically added along with a timestamp. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info read Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Thank you. --Sopoforic 05:01, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
Email me
[edit]Hi Lonjers, could you email me at your earliest convenience. I need to talk about github/bot related things when you get the chance and would prefer to talk about it off wiki (plus email would probably be faster). Wugapodes (talk) 05:36, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Bot error
[edit]Hi, I noticed that your bot removed too many lines from the Puteaux infobox, probably because the department field was not directly under the region field. I'm not sure whether there's an easy way to check whether a similar mistake was made more often, this one popped up in Category:France articles requiring maintenance because the bot removed the coordinates. Markussep Talk 11:58, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
So I had it editing relativity slowly. Kept getting stuck on things like misspellings for those fields. It has done about 10000 edits. I checked the last 2000 for any edits with a length of over 100 and then confirmed that all those were correct. So it looks like an isolated problem. Will keep checking through the rest. Will modify the program to avoid doing this. It has about 20k edits left @Markussep: Lonjers (talk) 01:42, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
- OK, thanks for checking, I'll let you know if I find more errors. So far it seems to work fine, with less than 0.01% mistakes, good work! Markussep Talk 08:11, 18 March 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, a discussion regarding your inactive bot is open at Wikipedia:Bots/Noticeboard#Inactive_bots. If you are no longer using that bot no action is required, it will be marked as retired. If you need to keep it active, please join in the discussion. You can always reactivate it later by filing a WP:BRFA. Best regards, — xaosflux Talk 10:40, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
