hi there - I saw you added this article and immediately it got tag for prod delete. I think it should probably stay - I cleaned it up quite a bit and added another link; however if you have some solid 3rd-party sources (maybe a news article or something) it would certainly go a long way toward preventing/defeating an AfD if someone should choose to flag it as such. Welcome

[edit]

Goldnpuppy, welcome aboard. If I can help let me know. We share a lot of common ground. You might consider adding something to your user page. See WP:Userpage for suggestions. Best regards. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 16:36, 25 October 2010 (UTC) Stan[reply]

This was some very nice work. Thank you. Herostratus (talk) 17:12, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks.Goldnpuppy (talk) 21:29, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. So how are you doing? I infer from your talk page that you are a long-time but probably infrequent editor... everything working out OK for you? Herostratus (talk) 04:17, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

An answer to your question about the Shrine of the Little Flower.

[edit]

I provided an answer to your question concerning what year the KKK burned a cross in front of Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak. My comments are on the discussion page for that article. I also named some books you can read if you are interested in learning more about the life of Father Coughlin and his early years at the National Shrine of the Little Flower. In addition to the books I mentioned, there are also two biographies of Father Coughlin written in 1933. One is by Louis Ward, and the other is by Ruth Mugglebee. Here is a link to my comments.JDefauw (talk) 00:31, 20 September 2011 (UTC)JDefauw[reply]

On May 12 you edited this listing by changing the page names of some of the cathedrals. In doing so you broke the links to numerous pages with the list. I did my best to reinstate the pages this evening, but I did not check my work against yours to know if I caught them all. I do know that all Catholic cathedrals (Latin Rite and all the Eastern rites), as well as those of the Episcopal Church, have pages on Wikipedia. There are three exceptions from the list: St. Nicholas of Myra in Anchorage, Alaska; St. Paul the Apostle in Savannah, Georgia; and the Cathedral Shrine of the Transfiguration in Orkney Springs, Virginia do not have pages (and do not appear to be cathedrals either, but that's another matter). I have no idea about the various Orthodox cathedrals and whether they have pages. You might want to go back through and check whether or not you broke the links to any other cathedrals. Farragutful (talk) 03:29, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Before I made any changes, there were 135 entries on that page that had no links to articles. Today, there are 134.Goldnpuppy (talk) 14:00, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I guess I did a better job than I realized. Farragutful (talk) 17:10, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to request clarification of an edit you made a few years back to United States Bicentennial. You wrote that the Bicentennial logo was selected in 1974, but it had already appeared on a U.S. postage stamp in 1971. Also, the links cited there ([1], [2]) appear to be broken. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 02:55, 28 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Me, Myself, and I (TV series)

[edit]

I was reverting your edit on the page on the grounds that TV By The Numbers is not a journal and accidentally clicked Twinkles rollback vandal feature I just want to apologize and let you know that I meant to revert as a good faith edit and bot vandalism. Undefined sfn reference

[edit]

Hi, in this edit to Merrily We Roll Along (musical) you use an sfn reference "Secrest 1998". Unfortunately you do not define the reference, so nobody can look it up and the article is placed in Category:Harv and Sfn no-target errors. If you could fix it that would be great. Edits to Barneys

[edit]

I was reading the article and saw this: "In 1989, the store formed a holding company with Japanese department store Isetan to operate stores in both countries. The first Tokyo store opened in November 1990. The agreement also called for the holding company to spend $250,000 to open 30 smaller stores of approximately {{convert}6,500|sqft|m2}}" Could you add a cite for the $250,000 figure. That is only $8,000 per store! Or did you mean to put 250,000 per store?

Thank you  • Bobsd •  (talk) 08:17, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It took a while, but I found the article and cited it. While it may mean per store or $250 million from Barneys and another amount from Isetan, it says only: "The new agreement calls for spending about $250 million to buy sites and open stores, said Robert Pressman, a Barney's executive vice president." Goldnpuppy (talk) 23:51, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for finding a citation. But the current text actually says $250,000 ... not $250,000,000. Now that there is a citation ("...The new agreement calls for spending about $250 million ...") I'll go ahead and change the text to match.  • Bobsd •  (talk) 21:04, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

IMDB as a source

[edit]

I cut the reference you added to IMDB in Montana Jordan; the rest of the edit was not problematic. Just so you know, IMDB is not a reliable source; see WP:IMDB. The statement had two other cites, anyway, so no reason to have a third. TJRC (talk) 19:35, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't add the IMDb reference, it was already there but incorrectly attributed to Deadline. Goldnpuppy (talk) 04:37, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Good edit then, at least fixing the misattribution. Sorry on the mix-up, in the diff it looks like you were the one adding it, but looking at it more carefully, I see that that's not the case. TJRC (talk) 16:26, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I know it's not a reputable source, but wasn't sure what to put in its place. Goldnpuppy (talk) 23:47, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Goldnpuppy. I was cleaning up some REFSPAM when I came across your edit from a few years ago here. I've restored the LATimes ref. Any recollection of why you did that? --Hipal (talk) 20:09, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I don't recall exactly, but most likely it was because the LA Times references wasn't accessible. Goldnpuppy (talk) 01:21, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
