Orphaned non-free media (Image:Colbert Report logo.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Colbert Report logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Wikipedia ad for WikiProject Chile

[edit]

Hi - Since you're name is listed as someone available to create ads, I was wondering if you would have time to create an ad for WikiProject Chile since my design and animated GIF skills are pitiful. Thanks! --Kimontalk 20:55, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Could an ad be made for Wikipedia:WikiProject European history? It'd be great if it used that historical map of Europe on the project page, but apart from that you can be as imaginative ass you like :-) --Phoenix-wiki 22:20, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Make An Ad , Please

[edit]

Hello. I was wondering if you could make at least two ads for me.

An ad for my "American Wikipedia Shojou Association" It should say: Manga is not only for boys. Join the club for girl's manga- shojou, and promote it around Wikipedia! "

and

An ad for me especially. I would like it to flash "Princess Janay: Knowledge Tiara=Power" I know that you may not do this, but if you would please do this, I'd be very pleased!

Thanks, --Princess Janay (talk) 20:13, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another ad

[edit]

Would you be willing to make an ad for Wikipedia:WikiProject Technology History? Thanks, Redmarkviolinist Drop me a line 15:32, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Can you please make an ad for my WikiProject? It should say: Interested in Aquatic Invertebrates? After that, it says: Join Wikiproject Aquatic Inverts! Please use pictures from the project itself. User:Jourdy288/Wikiproject_Aquatic_Inverts

Thank you.

Speedy deletion of Template:GoTo

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Template:GoTo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 05:45, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I need graphics editing help

[edit]

I noticed you are listed to help people in designing their user pages.

Well, I need help with a similar type of thing - graphics editing.

I'm preparing to coordinate this:

and for it I'm developing some awards. Each award will include an image, and that's where I need help...

I've got to have all the awards done by July 15th, and I don't even have the first one finished yet.

I'm looking for someone who knows how (or is interested in jumping in and learning how) to work on images in xcf format using GIMP, or Inkscape, etc. (Because I and others will need to be able to edit each image's layers after you are done with it).

If this sounds like something you are interested in helping with, please drop me a note.

By the way, both GIMP and Inkscape are free, making it easy to get started from scratch.

I look forward to your reply.

Could you please make an ad?

[edit]

It's for Wikipedia:WikiProject Koei Warriors Games, and I uploaded the pictures. All I need is to put them into a forever-looping animation.

Please put the pictures in this order:

  1. File:WPKoeiWarriorsGamesAdPicture-1.gif
  2. File:WPKoeiWarriorsGamesAdPicture-2.gif
  3. File:WPKoeiWarriorsGamesAdPicture-3.gif

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:File-Qxz-ad46.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Fastily (talk) 05:31, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NowCommons: File:Moyie.png

[edit]

File:Moyie.png is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Moyie.png. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Moyie.png]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 18:58, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User page design

[edit]

Hi. I noticed you in the user page design center and you seem to have a nice user page. I was wondering if you still renovate user pages. Do you? BejinhanTalk 13:44, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your input is needed on the SOPA initiative

[edit]

Hi Andrew Hampe,

You are receiving this message either because you expressed an opinion about the proposed SOPA blackout before full blackout and soft blackout were adequately differentiated, or because you expressed general support without specifying a preference. Please ensure that your voice is heard by clarifying your position accordingly.

Thank you.

Double-bordering (for lack of a better term)

[edit]

This is an existing userbox. I'd like to know if it's possible to put an outset blue border, an inset white border, then the content. I can't figure it out, even after an extensive search. TIA. —ATinySliver/ATalkPage 06:59, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Renovate my user page.

[edit]

Hi, Andrew Hampe. Can you help me renovating my user page? But first, check my user page then edit my user page. But you can still write codes if you want. Just ignore the notice because I reply you a request. You can also renovate my page notice. I will write other information. Thank you and I will wait for your answer.
