Hi, I was wondering why you deleted this article. The archive of the discussion, which I participated in, show that the username that made the nomination and the only other username that supported deletion were both sockpuppets of the same banned user. I notice the reason was 'exp prod,' and when I looked that up I didn't see how that applied in this scenario. Granted, I haven't been editing all that long so I may just be confused with how the policy works. If you could explain your resons for deleting the article, I would appreciate it.
Thanks... Demolicious 06:13, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Tiana Ringer part deux
Thanks for your swift reply. And in return I will bombard you with more questions ;). Reading the policy, it states, as I understand it, articles which have previously been subject to an AfD can not have a prod tag. Since this article did have an AfD discussion (Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Tiana_Ringer), albeit one initiated in bad faith by a sockpuppet of a banned user, then a prod tag shouldn't have been placed on it and the resulting deletion shouldn't have occured. At least, that is how I interpret it.
The policy also states that an admin can undelete an article delted under the prod procedure upon a reasonable request. I would like to make such a request since there was a prior AfD with a result to keep it and the only votes to delete were from sockpuppets of a banned user.
Thank you once again for your time... Demolicious 21:16, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

curious new page...
I noticed that Road-apples had been created with both {{tl:db-spam}} and {{tl:hangon}}, suggesting that the person created it knows quite well that it's advertising, and is just trying to get it left on longer than normal. What would be the appropriate thing to do in such a case?— Timotab Timothy (not Tim dagnabbit!) 04:21, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Any idea why this was deleted? I've a few facts about him which I wanted to add, but not if it's a pointless article.
(Please reply here - I'll watch this page).

- It looks like it was an expired prod. When an article has the prod tag on it for more than 5 days, it can be deleted. ~ Amalas rawr =^_^= 13:59, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- I noticed that bit, but I'm not sure how to find the reasons for the PROD? Or the content before deletion? Either I've duplicated the shortcomings of the article, or I have new stuff to add which would make it a worthwhile article - in which case it would be good to add the original material to my new stuff.
- Thanks for your help.
- What I was able to pull from the history was this reason: "non-notable roadie, no evidence of non-trivial third party coverage". I hope that helps. ~ Amalas rawr =^_^= 19:27, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for that. It's what I thought it might say. It's not far off, but he did actually play bass for The Stooges for a while before heroin got him thrown out of the band (must have been bad to get thrown out of The Stooges for drug use...) and eventually killed him. Think that's notable enough? Should I write a new article and see if anyone wants it deleted?
- I appreciate your attending to this minor matter. Ewen 20:25, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- As long as you cite reliable sources, you should be good to write a new article. I would suggest writing a draft on a subpage of your user page before moving it into the article namespace. Good luck and happy editing! ~ Amalas rawr =^_^= 20:47, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Stubs removed during AWB stub sort?
I do not understand why the stubs were removed in this edit. Please reply at my talk page.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 06:50, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- As I understand the purpose of stubs, they organize articles into categories. When we at WP:CHICAGO choose articles for WP:CHICOTW, we look for stubs so we would quite possibly look in the category created by {{Chicago-stub}}. However, persons at WP:Illinois might look for an article to work on in a category created by {{Illinois-struct-stub}} if they were in the mood to work on an Illinois building. In this sense the Illinois tag is not redundant. Similarly, since neither {{US-theatre-stub}} nor {{theat-struct-stub}} is a subcategory of the other they are not redundant and you will create wholes in the system by removing such tags before articles have gotten enough attention to no longer be stubs.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 15:44, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- It looks like one cat has been depopulated. I hope this was not your efforts based on your previous arguments.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 15:46, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- There is nothing in the section to suggest an article should not include {{Illinois-stub}} and {{Chicago-stub}}. Like I said before they do not overlap. I am going to readd {{Illinois-stub}} and add {{theater-struct-stub}}.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 15:56, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- My mistake, I meant to add {{Illinois-struct-stub}} which is clearly not a parent category for {{Chicago-stub}}. I have readded the correct stub.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 16:08, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- Also is {{theater-struct-stub}} a parent or offspring of {{US-theatre-stub}}. --TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 16:11, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- O.K. I will readd {{US-theat-stub}} as well.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 16:16, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Theatre Three
Regarding "Theatre Three", I'd always thought that the "Three" came from "three villages", which is the locale of the group.
The roots of this group actually go back to the Theater Group at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Its very successful series of show-tunes productions named "Showstoppers" (performed in the North Room of the Brookhaven Center) was later taken "on the road" by Jerry Friedman (a computer programmer, who occupied the office across the hall from mine, in the Applied Math Dept.)
Bradlee Bing, a teacher at Longwood High School (who often directed school plays, there) was involved early-on and later became "Artistic Director", but I believe Jerry was the original spark-plug of what evolved into Theatre Three, along with several other members of the (now defunct) BNL Theater Group (e.g. Ronny & Julie Peierls, Graham Campbell, Bob Marr, Mike Losquadro, and myself).

Please be so kind as to help me on this.
As I have said to the other people who have worked for the article: Iggy Arbuckle, I am trying to learn where I can go to tell the administrators that the article mentioned is screaming out for images. However, no matter where I go, I can't figure out what to do. Please leave your comments on my talkpage if you can provide me with a detailed solution. Thank you!!!
