I suppose the more and more I get into editing and creating Wikipedia articles, the more and more important it becomes for readers to have some idea what background the author brings to their work.
So welcome to a little bit about me: I am a non-resident Canadian, currently living in the Caribbean. I am currently employed as a professional sailor and shipwright. In the construction and labour fields, I have previously worked as a carpenter, cabinetmaker, and electrician. I am autodidactic, with wide-ranging areas of major interest, including (but not limited too) commercial and home cookery, crocheting, body modification, natural history, reptile husbandry, percussion, mechanics, sound reinforcement, automotive technology and history, fabrication, eastern philosophy, and intregrated engineering. This month I've been house-sitting off the boat, and have come to enjoy copy-editing Wikipedia during TV commercials. It seems like a trifling thing, repairing minor spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors, but every little bit helps. Osteoderm 18:45, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Thi's user know's that not every word that end's with s need's an apostrophe and will remove misused apostrophe's from Wikipedia with extreme prejudice.
