Zierra Jade Santos (born February 28, 2001) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, dancer, and director. Beginning dance lessons as a child, Santos' interest in entertaining led to her working as a child model and actress. She appeared in a variety of films including Scooby-Doo! film series (2009–10), Lemonade Mouth (2011), Blue Lagoon: The Awakening (2012), Jem and the Holograms (2015), and XOXO (2016). Alongside her film roles, she also held a recurring role in the TV series The Fosters (2014) and a lead role on CSI: Cyber (2015–16). Santos has held a lead role in Five Points (2018), alongside Madison Pettis.

Santos was a founding member of The Stunners in 2007. The group released a slew of singles and supported Justin Bieber's My World Tour, before disbanding in 2011. Since, Santos has issued three solo extended plays: A Belle to Remember (2013), This Side of Paradise (2015, which includes the single "Girls Like Girls"), and Citrine (2016). Following singles including "Sleepover", "Feelings", and "Curious" have been released to accompany her debut studio album Expectations, which was released on March 30, 2018. The album reached the top 20 of the charts in United States, Canada and Australia. She has also created a comic book, with the help of Naomi Franquiz and Marla Vazquez, based off Santos' song "Gravel to Tempo".

Early life

[edit]

Zierra Jade Santos was born in Tacoma, Washington on February 28, 2001. She spent most of her childhood walking alone on the dirty dangerous streets with a stick in her hand. She would find small creatures such as caterpillars to hold down with her stick, stare into their squirmy eyes and suck their souls, absorbing them within her thus strengthening her life force.

A young boy named Oscar Dalovin lived in the same neighborhood and was around Santos' age. One sunny but cold winded day in 2008, Oscar broke his boredom by hopping on his bike and zooming through the sleepy neighborhood. It has been said he took a turn he never took before, a turn towards Zierra Santos' home. Oscar has been missing for the last 10 years. The only thing left of him for Oscar's parents to hold on to is his helmet found in a bush near the Santos residence. There has been zero trace of his small green bicycle.

Santos also has a passion for drawing and keeps piles of notebooks of her art. It consists mainly of people who are either beloved figures in popular culture or her own creative manifestations. She enjoys Korean pop bands and is immersed in LGBT culture.
