Someone should include the votings for each year. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.195.166.21 (talkcontribs)

If you have the info, why don't you include it? Essexmutant 00:02, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I dont —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.138.99.4 (talkcontribs)

Then you can't assume that someone else does. Essexmutant 16:50, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry if my request for information came off as an assumption. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.195.166.29 (talkcontribs)

I added 2006 inductees

[edit]

So don't delete them.

I fixed it, as Sho Funaki is NOT Masa Funaki. --David Bixenspan 18:54, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

LEAD PARAGRAPH

I object to the following statement in the lead paragraph ... Like other wrestling halls of fame, such as the WWE, TNA, and WCW hall of fames, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame is not contained in a building, and there are no ceremonies for inductions other than a highly detailed biographical documentation of their career in the newsletter.

The statement makes it sound as if NO OTHER pro wrestling hall of fame has a physical presence or building -- the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame (currently located in Texas) is a physical museum. Chesspride216.144.161.51 (talk) 16:19, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

2009 ballot

[edit]

how does one vote for the nominees? there is nothing on their website —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.235.132.16 (talk) 01:58, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This year's inductees are: Everett Marshall, The Midnight Express, Bill Miller, Konnan, Roy Shire and Masa Saito. I was looking through the newsletter (I have a download link for those who are interested. I'm hesitant to post it here, but I can e-mail it upon request) and the inductees are split into categories: "World Wide", "United States & Canada", "Japan", "Mexico", "Other countries", "promoters", "managers", "bookers", "women", "trainers", "announcers". In the FLC for this page, I suggested that birth countries be included, but adding the categories as listed in the newsletter would be great. -- Scorpion0422 14:30, 27 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

1996 HOF

[edit]

Ray Stevens isn't on the list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.191.199.11 (talk) 22:24, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The list of HOH honorees from 1996 needs to be double checked with the WON/HOH website. It appears that Ray Stevens is not the only name which was inadvertently not shown in the Wikipedia article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.69.139.146 (talk) 12:50, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I looked through the list in the actual WON newsletter, and was unable to find any other missing names. Is there anyone specific that you think is missing? -- Scorpion0422 13:22, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Separate inductees into categories

[edit]

I want to propose the idea of separating the inductees into different categories, each having their own section. These categories would be wrestlers, teams/tag teams, and contributors (i.e. promoters/announcers/managers). How do other users feel about this idea? The idea would be to make this list look similar to the Basketball Hall of Fame, which is a featured list. TY.54 (talk) 17:06, 11 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that some inductees may have been a wrestler as well as a manager or promotor. The individual would be in the category in which they had their most success. Example being Lou Albano; who was a manager and wrestler. He would be in the manager category as he had more successful career as a manager. TY.54 (talk) 17:13, 11 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
