Sunderland Nickname
[edit]Should not the 1984 team be referred to as 'The Rokerites'? The black cats name was adopted after a fan poll in 2000 - according to our learned friends at the sunderland article.

Bryan 'Pop' Robson → Pop Robson — It is highly unlikely that anyone ever referred to this man as "Bryan 'Pop'". Since I'm fairly sure that he was most commonly known as "Pop", I believe that this article should be located at Pop Robson. — – PeeJay 00:06, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

- Actually I think if you look in footy books from the era when he played you will find plenty of references to him as "Bryan "Pop" Robson"...... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 09:21, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- Hmmm, fair enough, my mistake. I still think this would be a good move though. – PeeJay 09:55, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
